With a degree in journalism and an extensive background in the beauty industry, I’ve been fortunate enough to combine my love of writing and beauty into a successful career. I’ve spent the last 10 years working across a range of national magazines as a beauty journalist and in 2011 won the P&G award for Best Beauty Journalist on a weekly title.
Since becoming a parent I’ve entered the world of freelance and can now be found writing hair, beauty and health features for a wide range of online and national print publications. I’ve also branched into copywriting for beauty brands and PR companies, as well as developing a keen interest in social media campaigns.
My experience and background mean I have extensive knowledge of the beauty industry, excellent product awareness, great contacts and the ability to work to tight deadlines. As well as my writing and web skills, I also enjoy styling still-life beauty features and bringing creative colour and content to the pages of both print and online publications.
